Title: 1871 - Bala - Frances Mary Jones

Hello,

I am wondering if it would be possible to request a lookup for the following person in the 1861 Census of Bala:

Frances Mary JONES  aged 3 born circa 1868 at Bala, Merionethshire.

Any information regarding Frances and other members of the household will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for looking into this.

In 1881 Frances Mary Jones is aged 13 and living with her grandmother - Frances Saunderson at Llanycil.  Bala is indicated as place of birth.  I wonder if it is near Corwen?

Bala and Corwen are both in the Dee Valley, so this could possibly be the right one.

In the 1881 census, Frances Mary isn't listed with her Parents, so she could have been spending the night at her Grandmothers, details as follows:-

WALTER BC JONES HEAD LAND AGENT AGED 38 BORN CORWEN
MARY FRANCES JONES WIFE AGENTS WIFE LLANYMYNECH MONTGOMERYSHIRE
WALTER JONES SON 5YRS BORN CAERNARVON
ADA GLADYS JONES DAUR 2YRS BORN CAERNARVON
CAROLIE SC JONES DAUR 1YR BORN CAERNARVON

Three different servants this time, living at MYNYDD EDNYFED COUNTY OF CAERNARVON

If you look again at the 1881 although Frances Saunderson is Head of house shes unmarried.I think Frances Jones is Mary Jones  the Boarders Grandaughter.
Mary Jones,Boarder,Widow,70,Bala
Frances Mary Jones,do Grandaughter,Bala

The do is under Boarder stands for ditto i think so Boarders Grandaughter.
