Can anyone help me with a marriage look upin the parish records for Benjamin Tyrrell born 1765 in Aynho, Northants and Elizabeth born 1767 also born Aynho. I believe that they married in the parish but possibly over the border in Oxfordshire. I am having trouble tracing them after they were born. Their younger brother John moved to Brighton at some stage and i have found him on the 1851 census. Any help with this would be appreciated.
Many thanks

Looking at the original it was no wonder you could put the full date Teresa as there is
an ink mark across it. Good connection though. :)
Anyway It does seem to be the right marriage as it states
Benjamin George Tyrill signs his surname as Tyrrill.

Hi Teresa and Sandy,
Many thanks again. I do believe that you have the right Benjamin here as his parents were Benjamin and Mary Masters. Seeing as both he and Elizabeth were married in Brackley i would say that this is probably the right Elizabeth too.
I wonder if i can be cheeky and ask you if there are any other Tyrrells married or died in Brackley as it looks like the family may have moved there from Aynho. I don't know the area that well as i live in Bolton, Lancs. Other siblings of Ben and Elizabeth were; Mary, Henry and Thomas, born; 1768, 1770 and 1772 respectively ( all Aynho).
Thank uou so much again.
Best wishes

Hi Valda,
Thanks for the info. I knew about John Tyrrell moving to Brighton and being on the 1851 census as he is my direct relation. The others are his siblings and i have been struggling to find out what happened to them.
You have been most helpful.
Best wishes
Julie
