I understand Wiiliam Noyes, a miller, married Sarah Clavey on 7 Oct 1805 at Stoke Lane (Stoke St Michael) and they produced a family of 10 children. One child was my ancestor, another William, born c. 1816 and another was Maria (Eliza), born c. 1821. Does anyone have any further information on the family or their antecedents?

I don't know if this will be of help to you, but if it is, it may also throw some light on my own researches.
One of my ancestors, Annie Paull born 6th November 1868, married a Francis John Noyes May 29th 1886. He died on the 13th April 1889 . From later census data I learned that they had a son John.
She subsequently married a Louis Gustave Gibert in 1898.

Thanks Mony,
I don't think Francis was closely related, although my William had many siblings. Where did they marry?

Hello Steve
Sorry, but my source re John Noyes is limited to the marriage entry for Annie & John in the family bible of Robert & Susan Paull. So far I cannot find any further reference to them anywhere. If I do I will let you know.
