I'm researching the Corbridge family with connections around Sheffield.
Can anyone search 1871 for William Corbridge, b 1829 in Market Deeping, Lincolnshire but living in Sheffield.
He has children Sarah, Eleanor, Fred & Mary. I'm trying to establish who his wife was as he had 3 and I don't know who was the mother of these children.
Can you look for another female occupant perhaps Elizabeth, Catherina or Emma.
Thanks

1861 RG9 3494 F121 p12 Brightside Bierlow (can't read the street)
Wm H Corbridge 32 engine fitter b Lincs Deepin
Elizth wi 28 b Wiston? yorks
Sarah Ann 3
Eleanor 1 b Sheffield
So this one must be mother of these two. You can look for her death free on www.ancestry.co.uk. Choose the complete version and then you will have an idea which ones are Catherine's without having to get birth certificates. Or can you work it out from the marriages?

The address in 1861 is Spital Street.
The first household on the page, 2 schedules before the Corbridge family, also appears to say 'New Brunswin(?) Building'. It's not clear if this applies to the schedules below it as well.
(I suspect this should be 'Brunswick'. Spital Street intersected with a road which in 1861 was called Tom Cross Lane but later would be renamed Brunswick Road.)
