Can anybody please help me find an EDWARD WILD (WYLDE) born about 1805 in Wrexham. I have found him in 1851 living at 26 Abbot Street, Wrexham Abbot, he was married at that time to a SARAH but I do not know if this is his second marriage. His occupation was a Sheriffs Officer and a Publican. Thanks

Hi Finch
Sadly, the Wrexham 1841 census is missing :( Wrexham Abbott is available on CD from the Clwyd FHS for about £10.80 - found in a bookshop, I think
http://www.clwydfhs.org.uk/misc_pubs.html
and scroll to the bottom.
If you're lucky someone may have a copy but I haven't found anyone yet :(

Hello Joan,
Had a look for Edwards baptism in Wrexham. It's a bit confusing.
Born Sep 9 1803. Baptised Jan 15 1804. Edward Wild S/O John & Margaret. Wrexham Regis. Brickmaker.
Born July 19. Bap, Aug 19 1808. Mary.
Born April 11. Bap Aug 18 1811. Jane
Born Oct 31. Bap Dec 25 1804. Edward Wilder. S/O John & Margaret. Wrexham Regis. Brickmaker.
Burial March 8 1810. Sarah. Child of, John Wild.
Although I didn't see a Burial for Edward Wild. Born 1803 ( I didn't see a Baptism for Sarah Buried 1810) perhaps Edward 03 Died and they called their next Son Born 1804 Edward after him.
Couldn't see a Wrexham Marriage for John Wild (Wylde)
Paul.

Hi Joan,
If you post the details from the 1851 census I'll see if I can find anymore info.
