Pool Hill seems to be in or near Dawley which in turn is near Telford

forget Montford.

Dawley Green,Pool Hill and Light Moor are all in Dawley which is now part of Telford as Trees first said.

there is a local history group but their website is down at the moment.

feel free to ask if you have anymore questions about the area.

Don't know if this will help, but I have two births in Dawley, 1875 and 1903, and both certificates show Wellington, Salop as the registration district.

Hi

I did not send for either of these certificates. They are copies which are dated 1944 & 1948.  All I can tell you is that both refer to the sub district of Dawley in the Registration District of Wellington.  I did look on Genuki which says that the Wellington district records are now in the Telford and Wrekin District.  Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Good luck.
