Hello,
My wife was born in St. Pats in 1968, we have been up and down the Naven Road looking for the site where it stood, can anyone give us a a definate location. We will be over again for a week in Feb, so hope to find the proper location this time
We have a drawing of the home which someone kindly gave my wife, we would be happy to send anyone a copy.

I'm not too good on Northside Dublin, butI thought it was still used as a nursing home there, not sure though.

I have an interest in this Home as aI have been researching for a friend of mine who was born there in 1935.(see my posting on the Dublin site)
As far as I know it know longer exists.
I should love to see the drawing you have of the home. I have a photograph of the Nursery taken at Christmas time. ( not sure of the date). See attached.
Let me know if you need any help with finding records.

Hello IAFC,
I phoned the Cabra Library on the Navan Road. One of the staff there is a local person.
She could not recall St Pats so I presume the building was demolished. She suggested
contacting Dublin City Public Libraries & Archive, 138-144 Pearse Street, Dublin 2. (http://www.dublincity.ie/living_in_the_city/libraries/heritage_and_history)
They may have a map showing the location of the building.
Best wishes .. I hope you find the place. Have a good time in Dublin.
