Hi,
I am looking for information please about the parents of George Lippiatt baptised on March 29th 1818 at Stone Easton.
His siblings were born in Timsbury so it is possible he was born there too.
His parents are George Lippiatt and Hannah Rossiter but I have no further information about them other than the fact that they were married in Dunkerton on March 24th 1799.
I am hoping to use the information to link Hannah to her parents and would appreciate details of any Rossiter families or individuals living in Timsbury or Stone Easton please.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
Best wishes

If it's any help, I am pretty sure that Hester COLLINGS' sister Hannah married Paul PONTING at Wellow on 27 April 1778.
I have the Estate Duty entry for Paul's Will in 1807, and he leaves legacies to "my first wife's brother Joseph (COLLING)'s children and her sister Hester ROSSITER's children."
It does seem likely that Hannah ROSSITER of Wellow was a daughter of John and Hester ROSITER who had married in 1769.
Kind regards

I have only just noticed your message, for which I thank you.
Sadly, my husband Brian passed away in August this year.

Dear Margaret
Please accept my sincere condolences.
I never knew Brian, but I often saw his helpful postings on this site; he must have helped many people with their own research.
No doubt Christmas will a challenging time for you, but I wish you all the best for this particular season.
All good wishes

Thank you both for your kind wishes. Brian loved to help others with their research, he spent many, many hours and pounds on it. He also loved all kinds of history, and his old regiment. He has compiled a a picture gallery of family and army photos, if anyone is interested they can be found here. (hope the link works, I'm not very good at this)
