Can anyone tell me if someone was adopted where would you records of their birth. we know an uncle was brought up by his grandparents but cannot find his birth.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would imagine the Mother or the grandparents would have registered him.If his mother died but the mothers name would have been on the birth cert i think :-\.What year was he born?

thanks for the replies have found his birth registered in 1925 we were five years out. lubbie
