Title: HEATH family, Bovey Tracey

Looking for any information on Samuel Heath, born 1758?? AT BOVEY TRACEY I think his father was Charles Heath - Mother ????.

 Samuel was married to a Mary Tapper 18.06.1773 Bovey Tracey (I am not sure if this is 100% CORRECT)

 Children  -  Daughter Johanna, born 2.07.1799 at Marlborough.  Son Peter.(born 8.12.1801 Marlborough)
I am not sure if I have the right spouse for Samuel.   Would someone be able to help me with this family.  There seems to be so many Samuel Heaths of Devon.!!

As no one else has come up with a reply. I'll try and help - I'm no expert.
I looked on the IGI for Samuel Heath christened 28 Feb 1758 Bovey Tracey, Devon, England - father Charles Heath - yes I found him.
I don't thing this Samuel Heath married Mary Tapper 18 June 1773 - he would have only been 15 years old at that time.
Also if Johanna born 2 July 1799, was the first born child she was born 26 years after their  marriage.
Think you will have to find another spouse for Samuel Heath.

I guess I will have to start looking again for his wife,  one thing I know, is her name is "Mary..........".

Are you sure about the information for Samuel Heath - birth/christening - father Charles.
Could you find a marriage for Charles Heath?.
Do you have anymore information for them?.
Did any of them immigrate?.  I see you are in Australia.

I haven't got any more info on your Samuel Heath but we are related by his brother Charles born 1759 who was my 4 x Great Grandfather who married Ann Doney. I haven't managed to find who their father married either yet.

Thanks once again Sarra.  Maybe I am wrong about his Father.  I have had a reply from kesaunders79 - he tells me Samuel had a brother Charles. Yes, Richard Heath ( Samuel's grandson - son of Peter) migrated to Australia with his wife Priscilla and son John about 1857.   I just can't seem to find out who Samuel's mother and father were and also his wife's maiden name.   Thanks Sarra.

Thanks for the information about Samuel having a brother, Charles.  Did he have any other siblings and do you know their birthdates etc. ?  I would be so pleased to receive any info on this family.  I just can't seem to get past Samuel.
Any info I can give you please let me know.  Thanks for letting me know about Charles.

Yes the children of Charles Heath were John 1755, Margaret 1756, Samuel 1758, Charles 1759, William 1762 & Elizabeth 1762.
