Hi, have just demolished one brickwall in my familytree and am looking to try and do the same with another one and was wondering if any Rootschatters out there can help me please. It is a family of Mullins's from round Macclesfield/Wildboarclough way. A John Mullins and Ann Hunt got married 5 February 1810 at Prestbury, they were both of Wildboarclough, they had kids Hannah born 1810 (who I have traced fine as she is my direct ancestor) and Betty born 1812, both baptised at Macclesfield St Michael's, after that not a lot, I know Hannah got married 10 October 1831 at Prestbury, said to be of Macclesfield but that is about it, I don't even know when John and Ann died.
Would be so grateful for any help anybody is able to give me.
Thanks
Anna

Anna,
Do you have John & Ann in any census?

Hi all,
I posted an item some time ago about 'breaking brick walls', hopefully this may be of some use;

Hope this helps,

Hi, Thanks very much for the replies both, unfortunately I haven't been able to find the Mullins (apart from Hannah after she got married) on any of the censuses, had a maybe lead yesterday from somebody else with Mullins in Macclesfield that maybe John was still alive in 1838 so maybe a certificate in the offing (maybe), would still be v.grateful for any help anybody is able to give me though.
Thanks again
Anna
