Is this him?

1911 Census Esh Winning, County Durham.

Thomas William Gibson 21. Born Parish of Lanchester. Parish of Lanchester indicates he is born in Lanchester itself rather in the Lanchester Registration District which is BIG.

Son of Jos Gibson born Stanhope, County Durham and Sarah Ann Gibson born Lower Beechburn (Crook) County Durham. Both father and son Labourers above ground in a Collierey. Ordering the marriage certificate of Gibson/Pilmer would help!

More information from various researchers here on Pilmers and Gibsons, apparently extensive trees available:

Includes a post by doric:
'I  have just noted your recent posting re Pilmer and Gibson started by my friend June (Burnmoor) way back in 2007.
Sadly June passed away quite suddenly in August 2008 without getting much further with her research into these families.   She loved the 'Rootschat Family' and I know how thrilled she would have been with the new information.'
