Hello : I am interested in any CORKE/CORK researchers. Perhaps we have a common link. I have family origins in KENT (1740) and from there to ESSEX, SURREY, NORFOLK, STAFFORDSHIRE and WALES. Would any other people like to link up with me for some chit chat and exchange?

Hello
I am researching Caulk/Cork/Corke and any other way you can spell it from Norfolk. I have an ancestor who came from North Walsham (in the north of Norfolk) circa 1770s. Which part of Norfolk are you researching?
regards
pauline

My CORKES were from Norfolk i n the latter part of the 19th century. I am more interested if , perhaps , we connect in earlier centuries from KENT and ESSEX .

Hi All,
Just thought I'd make contact now that I've added a Norfolk Cork ancestor to the ever growing list of ancestors.
My ancestor Benjamin Dolton (Dalton) married Anne Cork 16 Oct 1716 at North Walsham, unfortunately that's as far as I have got. Living in Australia and having to rely mainly on the IGI for clues/leads I have been unable to find Anne's birthplace, siblings or parents.
The IGI marriage of Benjamin & Anne has been confirmed in the North Walsham PRs thanks to a kind RootsChat member.
Regards.
