Can any one help me find Albert A Barkas (Age 39 Born in Jersey, a Librarian) and his wife Ann J Barkas (27, Jersey) on the 1901 Census for the Richmond? area of London.

The IGI has christenings for both Barbara Anne and Elizabeth Barkas on 6 March 1825 St Andrew'S, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland - Parents William and Barbara.
and also Thomas Pallister Barkis born 5th May 1819 and christened 6th May, 1819 Groat Market Meeting-Nc, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland to the same parents.
And a marriage for William Barkas to Barbara Pallister 3 October 1816 Saint Andrew, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland

Thanks for all the info. So Albert's father was William, and he was English! My father used to have alot of pride in the thought that he was from Jersey, but there all English instead!
