Title: 1901 Census St Marylebone
Post by: Huentetu on Tuesday 26 December 06 19:40 GMT (UK)
I am trying to find out who lived at 55 Maida Vale, London (then St Marylebone and now Maida Vale?) in 1901. It is the address given on a 1902 marriage certificate I am dissecting. Could someone check the 1901 census for me, please?

Thanks very much for looking it up for me, Sandra. It makes no sense to me at all! I thought the address might be a hotel as a Great-aunt got married from there in April 1902, but it appears to be some sort of nursing home. She had a sister who was a nurse so maybe  it belonged to a friend of the sister. Grace E. Hunnybun has to be one of the best names I've come across. :)
