Title: Mary Ann CHOWN marrying Henry GRIFFIN

Hi,

Does anyone have any information on Mary Ann Chown (born Sidbury abt 1804 according to all the census) marrying Henry Griffin (born abt 1801, Sidbury/Farway)

The first child I know about was in 1826, William who married Sophia Chown (don't know if Sophia and Mary Ann were related)

Also do you have any info on Marys parents as I seem to have come to a dead end.

Hi Kev do you have Mary Anne's info from the 1881? It confirms she was from Sidbury and widowed.

Also William & Sophia are on the 1851.

Thanks for the prompt replies,

Shirley, thanks, but I have all the census from 1841 for Mary Ann but I can't find anything before this and wondered if anyone else researching the name has anything.

Welsh Lady, Thanks, the person who is posting on World connect project I have already spoken to and she is as far back as I am.

I have found that there are over a hundred Chowns in one lineage on Ancestry.co.uk's One world tree but with no link between my Chown and any of those!
