Title: Francis Greenway to Australia c1814. Born Mangotsfield Gloucestershire c1777
Post by: joanna21 on Monday 18 December 06 20:44 GMT (UK)
I have a slight possibility of a link to the family of Francis Greenway the ex convict who was transorted to Australia in about 1814 and became a magnificant architect. He was born c.1777 in Mangotsfield Gloucestershire. Can anyone enlighten me on any family. I am looking for a link to a Henry Olive Greenway born in Mangotsfield Glos c 1806.
Thankyou.

Online Australian biography - has his parents.  You just need to go back with the parents of your Henry and see if there is a link there.

The Greenway family tree on Ancestry.com has both Francis and Henry:

A subscription is required to access the tree you have linked.  Online trees should always be treated with caution unless the information is well referenced and sources cited.

I haven't looked at the link.  Hopefully the OP will be notified of your message.
