I am Looking in the History of Spingfield School.
I John Humberston go the school in 1958? to 1960.
Who may go to the school at the same time.
A draft letter from the Horsforth Village Museum,
it was owned by the Leeds workpeople Hospital Fund.
in 1950 school about 1950. the school closed sometime during the 1970's. It is now a Business Centre
Springfield House Business Centre.

I believe that Springfield , was a convalescent home C1913-1920'
I have a photograph of my grandfather at about that time , with quite a lot of other gentlemen of various ages.
I think, although I am not certain, that information may be held at the Leeds Archives. I'm afraid I can't put my hand on the details , but I am sure if you google , Leeds City Archives , that something will come up . They are situated at Sheepscar.
