Title: Cairns, Derry to Quebec Canada 1823
Post by: captnsquid on Sunday 03 December 06 15:42 GMT (UK)
William Cairns left Ireland in 1823 with his son James and daughter Elizabethb 1802  and his mother nigh 100 years old for Montreal Quebec. Bought a shanty along the Chateauguay River in Jamsetown, Ormstown. I am 5th generation looking for links. I am sure they came with other family from Derry, James being born in Limnavady in the year 1818 . Thank you
best regards, Ron Cairns
