I checked South Australia but did not find those births, I also checked the next Vic cd for Lena Mary and her family appears right from 1889 - Thomas FORDYCE and Emily MCFEE, so at least you know that they are real. I doublechecked the firs tcd but did not see them.

Christine, I'll check passenger records tomorrow for Fordyce, the site is down tonight. As for Frank Hume, I think his marriage index said he was Scottish

There are most likely more children !!!
It is just that the indexes only go to 1921.
You can get a few more years online = pay for view, to about 1924 I think.
I haven't got the 1902-1913 cd, and Genn has looked the next one.

I've just been checking those children's names at the National Archives, looking to see if they were enlisted. Almost all of them were and the indexes give full dob ;D

I checked for a birth for an Eileen Mary BAKER in Victoria but could't find one.
Also according to the marriage entry Frank Lyall HUME was born in Scotland.

That's some coincidence Christine, maybe Margaret is sister to Elizabeth? I did find a marriage record in Scotland for John Hume and Elizabeth Whitecross but no child by the name of Frank and or Lyall, or even just the same initial. Hmmm...will think on that one ???

Jean Saltau (daughter of Marcus) died 25 January 1976, Peppermint Grove, WA. Adrian Ward Farmer also died Peppermint Grove, 5 August 1964.
The above couple married 4 April 1922, Melbourne, Victoria.
Adrian Dixon Ward Farmer, son of the above, died 25 July 1982, Floreat Park, Perth, WA and Freda Bowes, his wife (born Langley Park, County Durham, England) died 29 September 1979, Wembley Downs, Perth, WA.
