Hello all.

I am seeking birth information on George Evans, born at Clun, Shropshire in 1791.  Any takers?

Can see a George Evans christened 10/5/1795 at Clun (parentd Isaiah Evans and Ann Lewis)

Graham, could be him, particularly as two of his sons were called Moses and Aaron (biblical names).

But I have George born 1791 which makes 4 years til his christening.
I suppose they didn't always do it straight away.

Hi again

The biblical names is the connection I think.  Also,  sometimes more than 2 children were christened at the same time and it wasn't unusual for older children to be christened with new born children too.
