I am researching a GREEN family who lived in MAGHERALIN, County Down.
I have found only 2 records:-
WILLIAM GREEN, born circa 1767, who married RACHEL MACOUN on 11th June 1787 in Magheralin, County Down.
WILLIAM GREEN who had a son called GEORGE GREEN. George Green was 'christened' on 7th January 1788 In MAGHERALIN, Co. Down.
I am not certain yet if the 2 William Green records relate to the same person.
Does anyone know of any other GREEN records from the MAGHERALIN area?.
Any help will be appreciated.

I have a marriage of PATIENCE GREEN, age 30, father WILLIAM GREEN, to WILLIAM GRAY ON 1 Dec.1847 in Lisburn Registrar's Office. Lisburn is only about 8(?) miles from Magheralin. Rosemary

Sorry, I dropped a book on the keyboard and the message was posted half typed. There are two William Green(e)s , Senior and Junior in Griffiths Valuation, both in Corcreeny and Magherana in the Parish of Donaghcloney. Rosemary

Thank you Rosemary. The William Green in Corcreeny (which is very near Waringstown) is related to me as I had already found his records in Griffith's and in the microfilm at the P.R.O.N.I.
However, I have so little information on the Magheralin Green's at the moment, but I suspect they might possibly be related to me.
Any Green family records in that whole general area are welcomed.
If I get further clues then I will be able to chase them up further by looking up relevant microfilm records at the P.R.O.N.I..
