Title: Baird, Sorn, Ayr, C1780

Researching  the  family  of  David  Baird  C1780,  Sorn,  Ayr
married  Isabel  Kirkland,  2  May  1813
At  least  one  child, David,  Born  20  May  1821,  Sorn
Married  Margaret  Gall,  11  Dec  1840,  Ochiltree,  Ayr
Children:  Janet   C1841/2
                Isabella  C1843/4
                David  C1847/8

A  David  Baird  was  born  22  Oct  1767, Sorn,  Ayr,   parents  John  Stewart  Baird  &  Christina  Hyslop,  this  may  be  the  same  David  but  I  have  no  evidence  for this.

Anyone  match  to  this  family  or  have  further  information

A few more children showing for David Baird and Isabel Kirkland apart from David b. 1821:

1. JEAN BAIRD  Birth: 27 APR 1835/ Christening: 10 MAY 1835 Sorn, Ayr, Scotland
3. JOHN BAIRD Birth: 27 MAY 1827/ Christening: 07 JUN 1827 Sorn, Ayr, Scotland
5. ELIZABETH BAIRD Birth: 30 MAR 1833 Sorn, Ayr, Scotland
8. ROBERT BAIRD Birth: 02 MAY 1831/ Christening: 18 JUN 1831 Sorn, Ayr, Scotland

Given all the records are submitted rather than actual on IGI, they would need to be verified. I can't see David and Isobel in the 1841 Census (there is another couple with these names but not them). Not sure how the names may have been transcribed.

David  Baird  update.

I  have  now  identified  his  parents:
Alexander  Baird  &  Elizabeth  Robb  married  2  Feb  1791,  Old  Cumnock
David  born  C  1793,  Sorn,  Ayr

Still  looking  for  any  further  information  on this  family
