I am looking for Thomas Burberry Clothier
-
Got any clues as to date of birth, place of birth, any other info about him at all?
-
I have no information on him at all, apart from the fact that on the birth certificate of Thomas Moses Smith Burberry he was put down as the father and his occupation was a clothier
-
Can you give the date of birth of Thomas Moses Smith Burberry?
What is his mother's name?
Other details from the birth certifcate such as place of birth, will be very useful for anyone wishing to help.

Hallo Wen55
It may be entirely irrelevant, but I have a Thomas Burberry acting as executor in the will of my ancestor John Tilt (1743-1811), of Dorking, specifically Capel. The will was drawn up in 1802, and proved in London in 1811, with administration granted to Thomas Burberry, and the other executor John Atlee.
Thomas is described as a yeoman of the parish of Newdigate, which is near Capel and Dorking.
I don't know much more. I am hoping to find a probate record for this will, as Thomas left four messuages and £4,350 to a dozen beneficiaries. If there is a probate record, it might say more about Thomas Burberry.
Regards, Beetle.
