Hello worser
There is a marriage possibility
George Joseph Jacobs
and on the same page
Mary Ann Groves
Bethnal Green
Dec Qtr 1863
see here http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl for references.
It is not certain that they married each other as on FreeBMD there are usually a number of individuals to a 'page' but it looks reasonable.

Thanks Biker,
I now have a marriage cert for George Jacobs and Mary Groves. Having trouble reading the name of the church on it. Looks like St Batholomews but I can find no reference to that church in Bethnel Green or local areas. And the I'll follow up on the census and birth. Both look positive.
George's father was Joseph Jinks JACOBS and that name 'Jinks' appears time and time again down thru' the family.
Now the search for Joseph Jinks Jacobs goes on.
