In the 1841 Census there is a residence called Gwyndy Bach, apparently an "out building" on the farm Gwyndy. It is located in Llandrygarn. Residents include: Hugh Owen 25, Owen Williams 45, Elizabeth Williams 45, William Owen 25, Elizabeth Williams 12 , John Williams 55, Elizabeth Williams 55, Owen Williams 20.
It appears to be a very large farm, including several out buildings with a second one also named Gwyndy Bach. This second building in inhabited by Thomas and Rowland families.
It'll take someone better than I at figuring out census records to straighten this out. Hope it helps.

Also in the 1841 Census, there is a residence called Cwtter Howel also in Llandrygarn. Living there was John Williams 25, Margaret Williams 25 , Hugh Williams 1, and Ann Jones (servant) 15. Again, hope this helps.

I was looking into my Owen family in the parish of Llantrisant the other day and looked up Welsh wills on line. There is a linl somwhere on here.
I think you would be interested in a Hugh Owen's( Penybryn farm, Llantrisant) will of 1839. Cwtter Howel Llandrygarn is mentioned and the following children names also appear
Mary Owen (wife)
eldest son John Hughes
next William Owen
next Owen Owens
next Hugh Owen
next Elizabeth Owen
next Henry Hughes
next Anne Hughes
