Hi Steven,
Quite a few Worksop records have been transcribed by Notts FHS
It would help if you told us her name ;)

Well here's what the transcriptions and IGI combined have thrown up!
Henry Handcock bap Worksop 30/07/1819 to William and Mary, abode Low Town, father a labourer
Also possible sibling John Hancock 20/03/1825, abode Common, father a grocer
Burial Worksop Priory 02/11/1826 William Hancock age 31, abode Common Side
Possible marriage William Hancock and Mary Kelp Blyth 05/10/1818
Mary Kelk baptised 17/06/1792 Worksop to Jonathan and Mary - this fits with the age of your Mary Hancock in 1851

Thanks Heather
I also found the same William Handcock on the Church of latter day saints web site but the Handcock threw me as i couldn`t decide if someone spelt there name wrong or they changed there name.
Many thanks

I think you have to keep an open mind on this one and realise that 200 years ago spelling wasn't standardised in the same way as it is today....
For example my Padgett line has among it's variations Pachit, Patchett, Paget - but it's all the same family :)

Hi Heather
What do you think of this!!
William Hancock(Handcock) b 1795 Blyth
His Father John Hancock b 1770 Worksop
His Mother Hannah Adsetts b 1771 Worksop
I`ve been racking my brains over this one for ages but keep hitting a brick wall, i found someone else who was researching the same Hancock line and they gave me this information but as i`ve got no parish records i can`t confirm it. What do you think?????

Hi again, sorry for the delay :)
Most of that is borne out by the transcriptions :-
Baptisms at Blyth to John and Hannah Hancock
27/01/1793 John, abode Blyth
14/09/1795 William, abode Hodsock
07/12/1799 Thomas, abode Hodsock
Marriage South Leverton John Hancock and Hannah Adsett 10/04/1792
There is a John bap. 04/08/1770 at Blyth to John and Amey.
Also a John 30/01/1776 at Worksop to Henry and Elizabeth. Plus several more in the time frame at Mansfield. You would need to find a burial for your John to narrow it down further? I'm afraid the Notts transcriptions of burials stop around 1812.
Sorry I don't see a baptism for Hannah
