Has anybody any info on Stephen Beavan who married Sarah Dobbs in Monmouth
1797? especially details of any children they may have had?

have you looked at Mike John's Monmouthshire BTs site? There are baptisms and marriages for the period you're interested in, including
4/6/1798 John son of Stephen and Sarah Beavan
5/6/1799 William son of Stephen and Sarah Beavan.

There's a possible for Stephen's baptism in 1775 under Bevan and possible siblings.
