Title: Butler from Whiteabbey Ireland

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me I'm looking for any info on the family of Peter Butler DOB 1901 from Whiteabbey Co. Antrim who arrived in Wellington 1919 married Doris Cooper 1930  they had  4 children  I have no info on them. I am also interested in the family he left behind 8 siblings.One  was my G.F. who was killed in action 1914.

Hi Pat, Thank you very much  but Jericho had already given me the details of the Biography and I have tried to buy a copy here in Scotland but no luck hopefully my relations in Australia will be able to help. I am sure that it will give me a lot of family information. I keep hoping that one of his children or friends in New Zealand  may see my request on RootsChat. :)

Hi Jo,
I have been researching the Butlers from whiteabbey on & off for years , My G grand dad was Francis Butler , he was Peter Butlers brother. they were Margaret, Henry, William (died WW1) ,Francis , Martin (died WW1), Patrick, Alice, Jane,& Peter(N.Z.). their Parents were John & Jane Butler.John died in 1903, Jane died in 1950 around 83 years old.John was married twice & had 3 0r 4 children in his first marriage, 1 son was John who died in WW1.
I am in contact with a number of relations , spread all over the world. I am emailing 1 of Peters daughters in N.Z.
I live in Australia.

Hi there,
Peter Michael Butler (DOB 1901) was my Great Grandfather. His daughter, Rosaleen, is my Grandmother.
I know this post is old but if you want more info I can try to find some out.
