Title: O.E. REMOVAL OF UNSAFE DOCUMENTS

Can anyone tell me why now and again Outlook Exprees removes attachments and tells me that they are unsafe.
They do not have virus's as I know that some were scanned at source
Have I got my computer setup wrong or something?

Hi Jean

It sounds as though you have got your security set too high - Outlook will strip out attachments such as pictures, executable files, Word files - in fact anything that can be used to get into your system by the back door.

You can turn this off in OE tools /options/security but take care.
