Title: Can anyone read this street name in Toxteth?

I am not 100% sure of this street name from the1871 census  can any one help please?

Yes I thought that but couldnt find a Prophet street in Toxteth

Erin, it would be easier to give the census year and reference and we'll check back or forwards a page or two to see if it is written any clearer, although Subee's link seems perfect, especially since it shows Prophet Street runs off Essex Street, which has been mentioned in a previous one of your posts.

Would need a folio and page number to complete the reference to find the entry, alternatively the names of the family, however, I would think that we've now confirmed the name?

Just been reading your other post (Marriage Certificate) and have realised the connection. Prophet Street is off Essex Street.
