Title: Army Records of James W Humberston WW2

Can Anyone give some advice or Help to me to Tracing my farher James W Humberston Army records.
I have some information about him he joined the Army in 1932  The Lincolnshire or the York and Lancaster Regiments.   He was driving armored cars.
He joined up at the age 16 Bate of birth 13th September 1915. Hogsthorpe. the son of  Alice Matilda (Humberston)  and John Lilley. From Boston UK.

Army records for those who served post WW1 are still with the Ministry of Defence.  They will be available to the next of kin for deceased servicemen but there may be a charge and, possibly, a bit of a wait what with the rising interest in family history of late.
