Hi, l know this is s long shot but l'm looking for the following on the 1901 census? the info l have is limited.
Sidney PATTERSON born c1895 Abertillery? Sidney was a dockworker, the only other info l have is that he married Ann/Annie in c1920.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Closest birth reference I could find was for an "Albert Sidney Patterson" September 1894 Merthyr Tydfil Vol 11a Page 59(5) :-\
In 1901 there is an Albert Patterson born S Wales Brithdi..? c1895 living in Hammersmith, London, with parents John (General Labourer b. Norfolk Gayton Thorpe) and Alice (B.Gayton) + siblings Mabel, Cecil and Robert.
Probably best to get his marriage cert, or birth cert of one of their children, to see if they give more clues...... :-\

Thanks for the info, the info l have is limited but since posting my earlier message l have discovered that my ggrandfathers full name was Sidney Charles PATTERSON and he married Annie late Kenzie formerly Robbins in c1920, there son Clifford Charles Patterson was born Abertillery in Sep 1923...........sorry l'm going on.

At last! Found the marriage reference, a few years out......
Annie Kenzie June 1918 Fylde Vol 5e Page 1055
Grooms surname - Patterson
Not sure of the volume and page number (very blurry) so just going to check the corresponding entry for S C Patterson........

Vol 8e page 1085...... a lot clearer on the page for Sidney Patterson!

I can see this is an old convo - but I wonder if you have revised your tree since this was posted as I'm not sure you had the correct info, unless you were working backwards at the time?
Sidney Charles Patterson was born in Australia and married Annie Robbins/Kenzie in 1918 - their sons were born 1920 and 1924. Sidney did not arrive in the UK until coming over with the Australian Imperial Force during WW1. He was my grandfather.
