Title: duke of beauforts estate
Post by: ros on Saturday 28 October 06 15:19 BST (UK)
would anyone know where i could find a list of workers for the BADMINTON HOUSE estate owned by the DUKE OF BEAUFORT
around the 1920's
i am researching a relative that is supposed to have worked and died on the estate mid 1920's and have no idea where to start
i can find the dukes family and staff on the 1901 but that is too early
any pointers ? thank you

Hi

A2A lists the Estate and Household records (1200-1985) :

It might have something in.

I had relatives working at Badminton House in the late 1800's a contact had obtained a great deal of information from the Archivist at Badminton House itself - it might be worth trying to contact them.
