Hi, Monica
Thank you for your help regarding the children of James Freeman and Ann Taylor. It has added to the jig-saw.  Still seeking info on James Freeman, where he was born, parentage.

The Register of St James's Episcopal Church in Stonehaven shows the marriage on 31 Mar 1776 of James Freeman and Anne Taylor of Auquherie.

Auquherie is a farm a couple of miles west of Stonehaven.

Thank you jlmc for the info regarding Dunnottar marriage. Freeman+ Taylor.
I had a copy of the Banns courtesy of Scotlands People, but not the actual
date or whereabouts. The Auquherie link with Anne Taylor would tie in as
James Freeman was a Farm servant.  Is the Register of St James's Episcopal
Church Stonehaven available on line.
