I'm looking for William McArthur, merchant, of 46 Moorgate Street in the City of London. No other info available. He was mentioned in a will dated 1860.

Is it possible he may have been residing in the Mansion House in 1881 ie THE LORD MAYOR OF LONDON

Thanks for your message - I saw that entry in the 1881 census and it might be him...does that individual appear in the 1861 census?
