I have just registered so am unfamiliar with the site.
Are the Guernsey BMD records available online?
If not, is it possible for someone to look for GRO refs. on my behalf so that I can order certificates.
I have the relevant dates and names:-
Birth: 1910 - 1930 - 1938 - 1946
Marriage: 1930
Would anyone know if I could order the certificates online, at what cost etc.
Failing that - to whom would I write.
Would by grateful for any response and advice.

Many thanks.

Hello Everyone,
Might this link be worth a shot ? Just putting Littlefield in brings up a few.

I found the Pilot Search for Guernsey BDM records to be minimal. Most of my ancestors aren't listed. I wouldn't expect the Piraulx Library, who holds the records ,would allow Family Search access to too many. ::)

I have just posted a site today about St Helier births. I found it by accident on Google.

Channel Island BMD certificates are not available through the GRO. I don't know about Guernsey but Jersey certificates cost £20 each

Re Littlefield surname- I know that a family of Littlefields were evacuated to Halifax just before the Channel Islands were evacuated in 1940, and never came back after the Liberation in 1945- I think they had connections with both Guernsey and Alderney and remember meeting Bill and his sister Muriel on their visits to Guernsey- Muriel was friends with my mother. There was also another brother called Norman.
