Title: CHALMERS Family

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to find descendants of a Chalmers family that moved to the IOM in the 1890's. According to my research they were the only Chalmers family there for at least a few decades. I'm trying to confirm a link that one of their girls eloped to Australia (my g grandmother). I believe another one married into the Bregazzi family. Any Manx out there know the family????

Ancestry.co.uk has a Limited Free access  the 1901 IOM census
http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/census/uk/default.aspx

There does apear to be one English origin family's living in Douglas, Conchan IOM.

Married couple :John CHALMERS 51 & Laice CHALMERS 50 & English chd.
Married couple: Joseph CHALMERS 28 and Florence Albine CHALMERS 26 & IOM chd.

Am I reading this correctly, is Sarah WILSON also a daughter of Joseph and Florence CHALMERS?

The inscription doesn't indicate Sarah's relationship to Joseph or Florence.
