The Cochran's lived in STobieside, Avondale Parish, Strathaven and also Darvel, Loudon Parish, Ayrshire. I am told these areas are right on the Lanarkshire and Ayrshire border so that the family could be buried in either place. Could some one with access to Strathaven MI's look for the following people?
Michael Cochrane born 1775 in Stobieside , Avondale, Lanark. Died in 1850/51 in Loudon, Ayrshire. My Cochranes lived in Darvel (and still do!0
Wife- Agnes Mair Cochrane. I believe she died by 1829 as Michael had remarried by then. Agnes was born in 1778 in Loudon.
Alexander Cochrane. Born about 1751 and Died Sept 1804 in Darvel, Loudon, Ayrshire. His wife was Mary Smith Cochrane and she died in 1818 in Darvel, Loudon, Ayrshire.
Thank you!- Kristin

I have the Darvel MIs - had a quick look for your Cochranes but there do not seem to be any as early as your looking for. Message me if you'd like the more recent ones.
Cheers :)
