Is it possible to 'even up' the black and white in this photo please.It looks faded to me??  Poli.

another version .. though not all that  happy with it ... another case of not knowing when to stop I think ... But did you notice the poster in the window saying Tour Holiday and below that it looks like Evening Po   .. st?

I wonder if it was a competion ??? Somethings never change do they ....  ;D

polldoll, you've got good eyesight!!

I did wonder what the posters were about but couldn't read them, now you've got me curious.

One of my great uncles was said to have been a tailor and i wondered if this might be his shop, he looks like he owns the place. Wish the photo had been larger and had the name of the shop in it.

Heres a colour one for you, well, the thinking was that i might have been able to disguise the brightness at the bottom of the photo, sorry, didn't work, and i don't know enough yet to know how to lessen it

I don't know about the rest of the Rottschatters who ask to have their photos 'tidied' up but i always select a couple of my re-done ones and print them.

I'm getting such great work from all you good 'restorers' you are making my life very difficult in the choosing thereof!!!!!
