Title: Census
Post by: snowwhite77 on Sunday 15 October 06 17:18 BST (UK)
Does anyone know when the census in Liverpool was taken in 1901?

I have my Mary A Moore on marriage cert 13th October 1901 age 24, living in Fox St.

I have her on 1901 census (I think) as living with family at 14 Easby(?) Road, Kirkdale Parish.

Can anyone check addresses on 1901 census insead of names, and perhaps check number 17 Fox Street and number 24 Fox Street please?

Many thanks in advance
Snowwhite

Hi Snowwhite

Census night was 31/3/1901

It was reasonably common to use a convenient house as a "marriage address" so she might not necessarily have lived at the house in Fox Street even though it appears on the Marriage cert.

Or she could have moved between the end of March & the middle of October!

Thanks for your reply.
I thought I was onto something there.
Mary Moores husband is proving to be a problem, and on marriage cert he is listed as living a few doors down in Fox Street.

Not to worry, back to the drawing board.

many thanks for your help
