Title: Elizabeth Foskett
Post by: phob on Wednesday 11 October 06 05:17 BST (UK)
Elizabeth Pinkett (nee Foskett) married my G Grandfather (Levi Machin) at St Marks, Shelton in 1904. He died in 1926 but I have not been able to find any details of her death. They had 4 children - Ernest, Doris, William and Millicent.

Elizabeth was born on the 22/9/1869. They lived in the Hanley area in 1926.
Can anyone help me please?

Pat

Hi

If you are sure she was still alive in 1926, did she possibly re-marry after 1926 as she  was only 57 at that time.

If you know she didn't re-marry - have you looked for her death on the FULL index - not just the partially transcribed one at freebmd.  She could have lived into her 70's or even 80's so you would need to search from 1926 - early 1950's

You can now search the full GRO index yourself free of charge at
http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx  Choose “Complete BMD Index Ranges & Images 1837-1983

If you only have a dial up internet connection and you live in the UK, you may find it easier to view the same index at your nearest main library as the images take a while to download.  If you have broadband, they only take a few seconds
