Title: 1851 census request London CLARE

Please could SKS look in the 1851 census or index for CLARE in Clerkenwell and Holborn registration districts. I believe the family might be living in Clarke Street, Clerkenwell.

I am looking for John CLARE born cir 1799 Warwick, Birmingham and his wife
Caroline CLARE born cir 1801 Southwark Surrey

They might have a son Samuel John CLARE with them born 1840 in Clerkenwell.

I have located this family in the 1861 and 1871 still in Clarke Street. Numbers 6 (1861) 11 (1871)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Lyndsay, Can`t help you with the 1851 census for London  I`m afraid, but I´m  also researching CLARE ( William Young also London)and have come across your Samuel John in my studies. Contact me off forum and I´ll
send you what little info I have.
