Are there any descendants of the Davies of Clyn yr yn ys and Griffiths of Nant y Croy? I go back to 1700

Can appreciate that this is a long shot, but I have some Jones' in Verwig around the 1850's. Both Jones I have have wives minus maiden names.
John Jones with a wife called Catherine (both born around 1830)
Their son
Evan Jones and a wife called Anne (both born about 1859)
They would have moved to Cardigan proper by the late 1880's 1890's as I have a son Gwillym born in 1898 in Cardigan

Long shot I know but would either of the girls names and DoB's match up with anything with your research?

Rich

no, John Jones was born around 1830 in Mwnt and his children (particulary from my point of view) Evan (1859) were born in Verwig itself
