Hello Cov,
I too am from Coventry and my maternal grandfather and his brothers were in Royal Warwicks Rgt. Their museum is in Warwick , Guys House and I have been a few times.
I found 2 possibles for you at NA Online.
Thomas Foxon  Royal Warwicks Rgt 1132 Acting Corporal
    "            "         "             "        "   11364  Private

I looked in London Gazette re MM, but as yet no luck.
Regards
Alan

i think 11364 and 1132 thomas foxon are the same man, there may be an error in the medal cards,act/cpl thomas foxon 1132 was also decorated, your g/father was awarded the MM for bravery in the field on 20-8-18,it would appear in the london gazette around december,so alan has the right man.you will have to download his MIC,you will get both cards for £3.50.
