My name is Nancy A. Cheffings and I'm looking for my husband's family.  I was told they came from Lincolnshire, possibly from the town of Sloothby, about 1850.  The names I'm looking for are George Cheffings, born 1823 and his son Charles born 1862.  I have absolutely no other information that I can verify.  George was supposed to be married to Mary A, born 1846 in New Zealand.  Charles was married, apparently after he came to the US.  Can anyone help, please?

Not sure if this helps or is relative.
My father was son of Benjamin Leason of Boston and Mary Cheffings.
Mary was daughter of George Cheffings born 1897 in Boston.
George was the son of George Cheffings born 1868 Boston.
We believe Mary born in Waltham Brickyard Lincolnshire had some brothers and sisters, one of the brothers called Charles.
 We still live in Lincolnshire.

I never knew my nana as Mary passed away in South England when my father was a small child, in an army base.

				Hi Leason

cheffings who started this topic hasn't been online here since 2006 and I'm not sure whether they will receive a notification that you have posted.

 Fingers crossed.
