Title: Birth c 1796 Wiltshire: Mary PORTER

I'm looking for the birth/baptism of Mary Porter in Wiltshire about 1796, possibly at Winsley.

I know she married James Rudman READ at Winsley on 26 July 1818.

Mary died in 1841 during the family's voyage to Australia.

Any information or suggestions where I should look would be most appreciated.

I'm on an extended visit to Spain at the moment but when I return to UK in early December, if you've not heard anything, I'll be glad to look in the PRs for Winsley for the marriage etc.   If you've no info before remind me end of November.

I had a look at Winsley records and could not find baptisms for James or Mary but here's the marriage entry

St Nicholas, Winsley 26 Jul 1818 James Rudman Read and Mary Porter, both of this parish, banns, married by B. Wood, Curate, witnesses were John Wait and John Godwin
