::) Hi there can anyone tell me if there was some sort of register kept in New Zealand for Doctors who came from Scotland, Ireland, & England?
Looking for a Buell McGurdy, McGillicuddy or a variation of the surname who was a doctor in the Rangiriri area.
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers

Hi,
Don't know if this will help, but someonme may be able to do a lookup
A Christchurch doctor David MacMillian in 1946 brought out a book “By-Ways of History and Medicine.
There was a brief reference to one of my lot in there circa 1841, how comprehensive in naming Doctors I do not know as have not seen it myself.
