I'm looking for Mackins and Liddells in the Gateshead area. The Mackins - Catharine married James Quinn (1867), Mary Ann married Patrick Burns (1863) and Elizabeth married James Liddell (1877). I'd love to know about any more siblings, or any earlier census entires.
Would be great to hear from anyone looking in the same area.

Hi
I'm not looking for MACKIN but MACKINGS (variants MACHIN/MACHINS) originally from Wales then Scarborough. One branch settled in Hartlepool and another (mine) went to South Shields.
If you find any of the above please remember me and let me know!
Good luck in your own search.

Hi,
My Gt Gt Grandmother was Ann Mackin (also seen spelt as MACHIN).
Don't have a great deal of info on her.
She married in Bishop Auckland in 1853 to Patrick McCashlan (which evolved by many means to Cushlow, none of 'em could spell)
Her date of birth was around 1823, and she may have originated from the Leadgate area.
Her father was Peter Mackin.
She died in 1864.
