Alice was born in Marylebone in 1881 after the censes I am trying to find her parents I believe her father was William Duxberry but some confusion over her mother  On the BMD marriage she is Margaret  Jewers. But cannot find a birth for a Margaret? Alice was married to Richard herbert in 1901

Hi Jan, i have a Margeret Jewers 1858 in my tree also and they lived in Westminster, Dad was Peter Jewers, Mum was Bridget Hayes, may be a connection??  Sarah.

but have since found out that Alice was born in the Marylebone Workhouse father unknown mother caroline Duxberry
